For the first time in 12 years, The Farran Mackenzie History Mystery Bus Tour will ride again for one season only, as part of the ongoing #Farran20 celebration. Spend a special afternoon traveling through the remains of the Old Front of the St. Lawrence River, the Land of the Lost Villages, and the landscape of the Farran Mackenzie mysteries.
Your tour guides will be Maggie Wheeler, The Seaway Valley’s Queen of Crime; Jim Brownell, President of the Lost Villages Historical Society; and Rosemary O’Flaherty, PhD, author of Damming the Remains: Traces of the Lost Seaway Communities.
The tour will start and finish at Christ Church Anglican in Long Sault, Ontario, one of the communities built during the St. Lawrence Seaway construction. The tour will take approximately four hours (with bathroom breaks!) and end with a tea reception hosted by the church.
Tickets are $72.00 per person and may be purchased through the Lost Villages Museum. Please email to reserve your tickets to info@lostvillages.ca. Submit all names and phone numbers for your trip. Payment may be made by e-transfer to that email as well. Inquiries may be made by calling the museum at 613-534-2197.
